Q: How can I recharge my balance?

A: You may change your minimum balance and recharge amount from the My Account page or call Customer Service for assistance toll free number: 1-877-345-4488 or from overseas 1-310-633-2711. After you have set up your account with a predetermined credit and Auto reload level, your account will automatically top-up while you are traveling once it reaches the minimum balance level that you have selected.

Q: What is Automatic Top-up and how does this work?

A: Automatic Top-Up ensures that you will always have a positive balance of call value while traveling abroad and avoids the need of having to revisit the website to purchase more minutes. When you register for Automatic Top-Up, which is part of the activation process, you will be given the option to select a minimum account balance that you wish to maintain. You will also be given the option to select the amount of call value by which you wish to top-up your account when it reaches your minimum balance. With this function you always have peace of mind while traveling.

Q: How much does it cost for people to call me on my RoamTalk number?

A: The costs for calls to your RoamTalk number depend on the network provider of the caller. For accurate information contact the provider and ask for the rates to call a mobile number, in Liechtenstein (+423) or the United Kingdom (+44) from America or wherever they are calling from.

A: +423 is the country code for Liechtenstein and +44 is the country code for the United Kingdom.

Q: How does someone call me on my RoamTalk phone when I am overseas?

A: The person that wishes to contact you will be making an international call. For example, if the person is calling your RoamTalk phone from the United States, then they would dial 011 44- or 011 423- and the rest of your RoamTalk telephone number.

Q: How do I make a call locally within the country I am visiting?

A: With the RoamTalk phone, you are always making an international phone call. You would dial the country code of the country you are visiting and the local telephone number (i.e. in Italy : + 39 08 48991).

Q: Can I cancel at any time?

A: Yes. There is no contract or minimum term commitment.

Q: When does the RoamTalk global SIM card and the credit expire?

Technically there is no expiry date for the RoamTalk global SIM card. However, if you do not use your phone or SIM card (if applicable) for a period of 5 months, your account will be debited a nominal charge of $2.00 per month to maintain your international number on the network.

Q: How do I turn PIN security off on my RoamTalk Global SIM card?

A: While the steps may differ slightly depending on your phone model, the following general instructions should prove helpful...
First, bring up the phones Main Menu. Next, select the Settings sub menu. From the Settings menu select Security. Under Security there should be an option called SIM PIN. Once you have selected SIM PIN there will be two choices ON or OFF; select OFF. You will be asked to verify the SIM PIN. Once you have entered the PIN, the security lock will be turned off and you will no longer be asked to enter it each time you turn on your phone.

Q: What do I do if I lose my RoamTalk SIM Card or RoamTalk phone?

A: Contact RoamTalk’s Customer Service on our toll free number: 1-877-345-4488 or from overseas 1-310-633-2711 immediately, and we will block your account to avoid unauthorized use. You can order a replacement RoamTalk SIM Card via the RoamTalk website at www.roamtalk.com or through Customer Service and your balance will be transferred.
